There is no toy a child enjoys more than a cardboard box!

As we were unpacking,we had the idea to take one of the empty boxes, and cut a door and some windows in it. We thought that Darrien would have a lot of fun getting in it and peering out through the windows. We put some toy inside to encourage him to get in, but the box as a little too short for him. Well as it turns out he actually enjoyed chasing us around the box even more!

Visioneer Family Luau

Well Darrien had a great time at the Luau.  A special thanks to all of those who were able to take a moment and say hello to him.  He started off the afternoon pushing his red wagon in circles.  We then moved to another area of the patio, where he continued to push it in circles.  He sure wore himself out.  He had to eat my Macaroni and Cheese to recover his strength.  (not to mention that yummy potato salad that he allowed me to share with him)

Once he had replenished his energy stores, he retuned to the task at hand.  And the wagon was pushed some more. Smile  After a short and union regulated cookie break, Darrien took to pushing the wagon from the back.  This of course lacked the maneuverability of  side push method resulting in only a few squished toes. :: Sorry ::

We managed to navigate to the center of the patio where Darrien resumed the circular pushing for a while.  Finally tired of pushing the wagon, he had to come show me how excited he was about that hat that he found on his head!
